Pixies - I Can't Forget (Leonard Cohen cover)
This is the last song that my lover put in our Spotify playlist before she decided to break up with me. It wasn't the easiest relation ever (mainly because was a not recognized one) but was the first time that i've loved someone. After 4 years still burns but it is the prove that i'm tougher than i thought. I've learned, and i'm learning, and i'm still standing.
the bass rumbles in this track. RIP Albini you madman.
Lembrei da música de Chitãozinho, Xororó, Zé Ramalho - Sinônimos
whatever the reasons you're listening to this song, have a nice life
RIP Steve
I remember hearing this at my mates house, couldn't believe it couldn't believe how amazing it sounded. RIP Steve
The sound is great but the song has no progression.
Got to the point of watching them distort the truth. It's good stuff especially when it gets worded right ("no they don't.")
Knockin' on Heaven's Door
I heard her live in the 90 it was the best
RIP, Steve. Also, to my late brother who introduced me to Big Black. Eric, your birthday kicks my ass every year. I love you!
punker than "lydon" + way better screamer than "kurt so-lame". thanks steve. remarkable.
I just now learned that Steve passed... I can't believe it... I'm in total shock, like everything just froze completely. This song was what got me into Big Black and his other bands. Rest In Power and keep slaying with those insane riffs! From a fellow Chicagoan.
God loves us in a way no person ever can x🙏💖
I love the part at like 0:29 where it changes to minor and just sounds even weirder
Dana ha capito tutta la disperazione di Laura
The soundtrack to my life. This is one of my favorite albums by a favorite band.
Wedding dance song 25 years ago this year.
I listened to this song for the first time when I was leaving an old friend's house. I was offered a place to stay so that I could have the opportunity to attend a prestigious school nearby. Unfortunately, I was denied because of some requirements I didn't make. Before that though, I had hope that I clanged onto for the chance to make something out of myself. I'll be ok T_T
Still to this day the most perfect encapsulation of living in the midwestern united states. RIP Steve Albini
R.I.Power Steve.
What a mess. Byebye Steve. RIP. You meant something to me. Definitivley. Meet you in hacoheav!
Rip steve
This song reminds me of my sister! She introduced me to this gem!!!
R.I.P. Steve. 61 may have been far too young but one has to take into consideration he lived three lifetimes, one as the founder of three influential post-hardcore bands, another as an extremely talented and innovative audio engineer with a couple of thousand albums to his name, and one as an all around great guy with an infectious sense if humor.
RIP Steve. You changed music forever
this song helped me endure my walk in and through hell. rip steve. see you on the otherside.
Goodbye old man. Who will tell them to eat shit now?
RIP Steve. The world is a duller place without you
Here's to all the assholes that introduced me to this band. At least they did one good thing?
A top 100 song of all time.
Rest in peace, legend. Thank you for the greatest music.
Caught these dudes in St Louis in the 80s. Prolly 86 87. Met Steve outside. Super friendly. Had a great chat about the music and scene at the time. RIP Steve. Thanks for all the music you touched one way or another.
This song is how I feel when I think of my ex bsf I had such a deep caring for her but she did me so bad so many times to the point I hated her.
RIP Steve i cant fucking believe this
That bass line kicks ass!
RIP to one of the greats. Wish I could've met the man
Steve REST IN NOISE
RiP Steve........... Absolute legend. Your imprint on music is deep and profound. You'll be sorely sorely missed.
Anti- woke but still listening to this, sorry Steve!!😂
Why are you against understanding humanity? Steve would have been disappointed in you. Rest easy.
@@tomwhyman9947 oh no that's so disappointing that a dead man would be disappointed by me! What am I going to go do?.... Never said I was against understanding humanity. I probably "understand humanity" a thousand times better than you ever will. Which is one of the many reasons I am against wokeness. You know who also is? John McWhorter, who wrote a book called Woke Racism. You should read it, and maybe get a damn clue. Wokeness is a product of WHITE suburbia solely. It's also funny that you frame your argument with this false sense of moral superiority, what idiocy! Frankly most of you Wokies though are simply subhumans incapable of deeper thought. You mean well I guess, but you're just, frankly, dumb. Night night! Pssst....also think I'm MAGA? NOPE! try again! and maybe try thinking for yourself child, bye!!!
@@patrickbertlein4626 John McWhorter is a contrarian pseudo-intellectual. His "essay" condemning student protestors is grade-A waffling with zero meaning. Free Palestine, and protect trans kids.
@@patrickbertlein4626Big Black's music is making fun of people like you, just so you know. You're not supposed to relate to the opening sample in "Seth" calling blacks subhumans
rest in noise
I've got a sickness sweet as a love note
RIP
Rip
R.I.P. Steve. One of greatest musician and producer in rock music ever
What a fucking titan. Will be greatly missed.
Thank you for everything, Big Steve. Godspeed on your Celestial Voyage!❤🎉
...Lived there his whole life...
Rip Steve, figura crucial do rock alternativo
RIP Steve Albini. I only started listening to your music in 2023 and didn't know how much of an influence you had in the industrial/grunge/metal genre.
